I had the pleasure of being stationed next to Rutland Beard Florist at the 1840's Open House this past weekend.  Not only did I meet a great vendor in our area but I had a gorgeous view of the room filled with flowers. I even got to take home bouquet!

WEDDINGS! Jewish Weddings

I have photographed many Jewish weddings over the years including a few Orthodox ceremonies and receptions.  One thing is for sure, if you don't keep moving you'll miss all the action.  Whether it's a small intimate garden ceremony or a 500 guest celebration at the biggest hall in town each wedding has been completely unique.  Here are a few of my favorite images over the years.

The days of white satin shoes and dyeables has passed.  Brides are now wearing bright colors under that white dress and bridesmaids are mixing it up to match the flowers, the theme or their own style.  Check out some of the funky colors and styles.

Come to the open house this Saturday from 11-3 at the 1840's Plaza to check out this awesome historic venue!  I'll be there along with many other premier wedding and event vendors in the area.

Kasey and Kurt first hired me to photograph their engagement session and then their wedding in the fall of 2010.  I had such a awesome time working with them and I use their images repeatedly in my sample albums and portfolio.  I was so excited to have the opportunity to document their first born child this past weekend.  This is why I love what I do.

NETWORKING! Women in Business - The Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber

On of the ways I stay active in my local business community is through membership in the Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber. I attend a monthly "Women in Business" meeting hosted by my friend Joyce Rhine. This committee serves business women in four counties who come together for friendship, networking and education. The second Friday of each month speakers present a number of topics relevant to professional women.  I photograph each event and below is a sampling of the wonderful supportive women who carve out time each month to participate.
