Owning a photography business can be exhausting. Day to day administrative tasks seem overwhelming and never ending. The work itself while rewarding can push you physically and creatively to your limits. Sometimes I wonder if I'm making the right decisions or if what I do is even important. Yesterday I discovered a blog entry that reminded me why I chose to pursue this career and it's importance in the lives of others. Below is a link to a commentary written by Alan Feiler of the Baltimore Jewish Times. It is about a young girl and an image I photographed of her while a staff photographer for Alter Communications. We are all connected in this world and sometimes our images have a life we can't begin to fathom.
